Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu 4 days

We pick you up from your hotel at around 07:30am and travel by bus for approximately 4 hours to Carrizales or San Luis, along the way we are having breakfast. In San Louis we are going to start biking. We are enjoying the beautiful scenery of these mountains and along the way we are going to see many beautiful landscapes typical for the cloud forest in this area. Our biking will last about 2-2.5 hours till we reach Santa Maria where we spend the night in a hostel.

We will get up early in order to start our hike, which will last about 7 to 8 hours. We will ascent and descend a several times before walking on perfectly conserved Inca Trails, which have been in use ever since they are build. During our hike we discover the rich flora and fauna of the high forest and small rivers along the way
Among the animals who inhabit this area, we might be able to spot monkeys and parrots in diverse varieties.  In the afternoon we will arrive to the medical waters of Ullumire and we also have the possebility to enjoy a dip in the hot springs on the way to Santa Teresa.

It is an early start today and after breakfast we continue with our hike towards Machu Picchu. We will walk following the road, after crossing the Urubamba river by cable car! It will take us about 2 hours more till we reach the hydroelectric power station where we enjoy lunch and a well deserved rest. After another 2 hours walking along the rail road we reach Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) where we spend the night in a hostal.
